well I am going to change my charger, I am on ovo because of my std day rate of 22p kw is fixed for 18 more months, i use 15kw a day (medical equipment) I can either spend the extra 350 to 500 pound out ever 12 months, switching to another energy provider or pay for a charger and a hour of electirtions time, which seems to be the cheaper option for me.

The worst thing about this is that with octopus now offering a bolt on and moving forward other energy companies are looking at this too we will soon be in a situation were the schemes charger partner wont work with any.

(the reason this is happening is because the ohme has no way of detecting if a charge came from solar or home) so basically people have been getting energy credit even when charging from solar.
