After speaking with the VW dealership this morning, and also seeing comments on forums, it appears that you can actually preheat the interior of a Tayron PHEV (assuming it will be the same as the Tiguan eHybrid). Many users say that you can set schedules and departure times from the VW App. Sorry if have misunderstood this and happy to be corrected!
