Fast forward and the inverter broke down so I had no choice but to pay out for a new one and added a battery at the same time. I tried to get hold of the company and that was how I found out they had gone under.
I had to deal with the Bona Vacantia division and got them to disclaim the solar panels and I completed a Part 8 claim form to seek ownership of the panels which I was eventually awarded and now I am applying for the SEG with EDF. I had to prove ownership of the panels to get the MCS certificate to be able to claim the SEG.
Will Brydo not need the MCS certificate to be able to claim the SEG?
