Well congratulations to Motability and BMW for sticking two fingers up to all the newspapers, media outlets and YouTubers and leaving the i4, iX1, iX2 and X1 PHEV on the scheme. Whilst none of them are of interest to me, as a point of principle I’m glad that they didn’t cave to all the pressure.
As always, the devil is in the detail though. All remain the entry level power outputs, albeit in the more desirable M-Sport trim, BUT all of the highly desirable option packs (Tech + pack etc), which were previously bundled with many of them, are now removed. AP’s haven’t dropped to reflect that so, in reality, this means that APs have risen and, in some cases, quite substantially.
