I know a couple of people who are diehard Vauxhall fans, both have recently gotten Mokka’s and are not impressed at all with the build quality or the range. One is the E-Mokka, claimed range 252, in reality even now the weather is warming up he’s struggling to get 170-180, over the Winter it was well under 150.
The other, of more interest to you, is a 1.2 petrol manual, it’s his first Motability car, he’s only had it a couple of months, coming from a 5yr old Astra. He was not happy when I last spoke to him, real world MPG was woefully short of the published figures, he’s just managing to get 40 on careful mixed driving and certainly isn’t a boy racer.
As said above the Toyota hybrids are in a class of their own.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
