Hi, sorry if this is not allowed. I had some queries regarding the scheme and the process of getting the car as it will be not only the first Motability car, but the first car we will have ever had. Myself and partner (named driver) viewed and ordered a PEUGEOT 2008 1.2 PureTech 130 GT 5dr EAT8 in either Black or Selenium Gray with no added extras following a test drive. Fortunately, due to my condition, no adjustments needed to be made to the vehicle so an approximate wait time was between 2 weeks and 3 months which I sort of expected. The gentleman in the dealership mentioned that if they have any in stock across the UK, they may be able to get one sooner than the 3 month period. I’d just like to set my expectations clear, has anybody had any luck recently with in stock vehicles? Or is it more likely to be the 3 month wait (or longer, hopefully not). What is the process if they do have an in stock vehicle? They were unable to check yesterday as their systems had been down for 2 weeks. Presumably they’ll just have one driven from another showroom? I appreciate these are all questions I should have asked when we viewed the car. Many Thanks

I don’t know whereabouts in the country you are, but if you look at post #297760 in the Motability Deals and Special Offers thread:

    Motability Deals And Offers – Q2 2024 (1st April 2024 to 30th June 2024)

There is a Peugeot dealer in South Yorkshire claiming to have some petrol 2008 GT autos in stock and is willing to forego the £399 AP (as well as give £60 travelling costs or a night in a hotel when you order the vehicle). Also in that thread, the Peugeot dealer in York is often amenable to give a discount on stock vehicles.

So it appears there maybe some in stock at different dealer groups if you are prepared to travel. They may/may not have your exact colour, but with stock vehicles you take the chance to get the vehicle quicker.
