i queried it as we dont have offroad parking and the road is a distance away longer than any cable ive heard of.. she said theres a guy further round the crescent with one fitted and he jst drives up over the grass and charges his car and then parks back on the road.
If your landlord is willing to put this in writing, stating permission to have a charger installed and permission to drive over the grass, I see no problem other than Ohme wanting to see dropped kerbs, especially if the road is highways owned and not private.
