I’m really struggling to see the benefits for the facelift given that the Elroq is there now. Skoda have basically made the enyaq a bigger elroq and I’m not sure if they will struggle now with sales given the new tax rules on vehicles over 40k. I’ve a feeling that the elroq will take over as the preferred model for sale in 2025 and that the Enyaq will need a bigger change to give it the appeal for buyers.
Font get me wrong, I’m not saying that the facelift is ugly or anything like that but Skoda should be concentrating at listening to its users. I’m not sure how many people have called out for “dark chrome” or a “tech deck”. I’d be happy if I can precondition my car but my 12v system is utterly pants.
the biggest advantage of the facelift for me is removing the black gloss inside. Other than that, none of its interesting me. It’ll disappoint private buyers more who will again see the values of their pre facelift cars plummet as people seek the “newest shape” .
