“Is the installer HIES registered” I don’t know Oscarmax but the problem I have is that the batteries I want installed are not available until at least the end of February so he can’t physically supply them until then so no outside body pressuring him can change that😪.
The road I am walking now is the one where I need to accept the Dyness or regect them based on a specification that doesn’t meet my needs.

Excuse my ignorance but does this mean 9No 5.2kwh batteries will not charge from 0% to 100% during 5 hours of cheap overnight charging. If this is the case then what he is offering me is unacceptable and will be rejected.
Will each battery not charge individually and simultaneously?
If however what he offers meets my needs, in terms of how I will run my system, then I am left with an argument that could be a bit difficult to convince others of in that I just want the system I asked for, which is still valid but could appear punitive.
I still have a lot of money to pay him so I’m sure there are ways to get the Fogstar batteries installed if I want to but I need to work out if the Dyness batteries are inferior in a way that will materially affect the way I want to run my ststem.
If I choose to wait till March it will have cost me about £400 in additional electricity costs, all of which I would likely deduct from his payment. This could potentially cause problems not just at the time but if needing things fixed on my system in the future if things breakdown.
Its always better to finish jobs on good terms in my opinion but if as Kezo says the batteries wont fill from 0% to 100% in 5 hours then the system is off the table.
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
