Well bit late I guess compared to Mike, however tree up it’s a real one, we always get a real tree, so comes now to adding water to the base stand, now it’s upto my Son to chainsaw the bottom of the tree, and me just pour water in from the cold tap, every so often..
However there’s now need of a change says Mrs aj, nope no more cold tap water, kettle boiling hot water from now on, leave exactly 10 mins then add kettle contains of kettle to the base of the tree stand, apparently the hot water gets up through the tree much easier hence less needle drop..
