I need help picking a replacement car as motability has given me a technical termination as dealer can’t seem to get to the bottom of the issues with the Enyaq. I’ve got 3 months before the hire car goes back so that’s the timeframe I’ve to work to. Main thing is it must be reliable! I know you can get problems with ANY car but some seem to have more issues than others! On my shortlist is the electric Kona, electric Scenic ( heard they might have issues) qashqai epower. Like the look of the mini countryman and the Toyota CHR but can’t really justify the cost. If you had to choose what would you go for? Reliability and boot space for a wheelchair are important. Hire car is an electric Jeep Avenger which has been reliable and charging so much easier than the Enyaq but the boot is a tad small or that would have been a contender.
Like you I’m in a similar situation, I’m now on my second Enyaq, the 1st one was an 80 sportline which i had from August 23 till August 24, skoda couldn’t fix the car so motability terminated as mechanical failure and told me I could order again.
I decided lighting wouldn’t strike twice and manged to get an in stock 85x sportline plus which I picked up at the end if August 24, I knew the day i picked it up it wasn’t right, it was making an awful knocking noise from the rear, I booked it in but the earliest available slot was October, the dealer has had the car since and can’t fix it, so this one is getting rejected by motability too, in the next few weeks i can order another car but not sure where to turn.
