I don’t think that damage is trivial at all. It’s a brand new car and should not be delivered with any damage whatsoever. Once I’d spotted something like that it would really bug me. There’s obviously a batch issue or a manufacturing fault where the lights splinter when installed. Either way, I’d expect Volvo to replace both light fittings without question.
