    It’s about time, theirs not ours.  The appointment is only for a set number of minutes, anything that doesn’t fit in that time needs doing elsewhere.  It gets more people infront of the doctors but doesn’t get anyone sorted in one visit.

    Our GP has an online firm to fill in, that gets triaged by a nurse who never sees people.  There are plenty of cases where they will send cases to minor injury units or out of hours doctors (in hours) as that’s the only way to be seen.

    I’ve swelling in my leg which is the same one as had DVT last year.  They sent me to minors, a 3 hour wait just to be told I shouldn’t be there and it’s a fluid build up.  I then had to fill in the same form to try and get to see a GP.  Apparently it’s all a symptom of the pressures they’re under but something has definitely broken.

    I'll try to give my honest opinion but am always open to learning.
