@kezo I never use Sport mode. In fact I’ve never really used it in any of my previous cars either, as they have always been more than powerful enough in eco mode. Also, I dislike cars holding on to higher revs than necessary.
However, would Sport mode in the Tucson allow me to drive on petrol without charging the battery at the same time (unlike the inefficient HEV mode that I dislike)? I’d like the ability to do that when the battery is depleted. If yes, does it hold on to higher revs? However, given that the Tucson engine isn’t the most refined at higher revs that would irritate me.
