Thats why I dont tether my car to the charger.
On the Ohme app I selected the make an model. The App cant interrogate the car to find out how much charge it has, and charge accordingly.
Because the Ohme charger doesnt know how much charge is in the car, it just charges at max until the car stops the charging process when its target is reached.
That is what Ohme are suggesting, going back to dumb charging.
