We are due to pick our next car in the next couple of months and are thinking of going electric.
A few questions on ev home charging installation:
What is the max distance the cable can be installed and classed as standard installation. Our electric box is located under the stairs so the distance to the outdoors would be about 3 metres. The length required in the back garden would be about 10 metres.
Also would a trench need to be dug under the gravel by a fence for installation, would this be an extra charge, or could I do this part?
Our electricity supplier is eon so not sure if we need to switch.
