I don’t know if its feasable to take 38 miles of total trip and divide that by 6.22 gallons (£34.09), to take into account of not charging the battery. 311 /6.22 = 50mpg @Glos-Guy
I’m not sure tbh. If you recall, the reason I was getting a slightly different figure to you was because I had overlooked the fact that in addition to the 38 miles that you had in pure EV mode, the remaining 15% of the battery was giving you short periods of electric running. I just feel that getting a PHEV through Motability is only sensible if you can charge at home after each use. If you can’t do that I think people would be far better off with an ICE car or, if the AP isn’t much more, a self charging hybrid. Our PHEV Tucsons were £4,599 AP. If I couldn’t charge at home and still wanted a Tucson I’d have got the self charging Hybrid Ultimate for £3,999.
