Declan is your test drive in the GT? Im presuming they have one coming in this week then. Also what other cars did you consider if any. I had an Enyaq sportline+ on order before cancelling when the pug came out.
I’ve presuming it’s the GT. It’s in Portadown later this week. I’m in for a service in Maydown next week, coincidentally on the day that they have the e3008 test drives, so will avail of that time with the car too.
I test drove an Enyaq coupe towards the end of last year and loved the drive and the interior space, but didn’t like the small instrument cluster. Additionally, I felt that the design, already being out a couple of years was going to date quicker, so decided to wait for the new 3008. To be honest, I’m only 90% there on going all electric. I’m annoyed that our counterparts over the water are getting EV electricity rates about 3 times less than we are, due to our provider situation here. I might try to also test drive the hybrid, although I am feeling that the 1.2, 3 cylinder engine would struggle in that car and be fairly noisy. The wife is leaning on getting the E3008, so that might just tip it in it’s favour. I’d also like to have a look at the new Renault Scenic, Renault Rafale (hybrid) and even the Ford Explorer but they wont be in the showrooms for a little while yet and I’ve procrastinated long enough…. I’m making a decision and ordering this month.
