I don’t do massive mileage on my vehicles so my priorities are more focussed on other aspects, rather than just fuel economy. I’m not saying it doesn’t matter at all but as long as it’s not something stupid like 20 or 22 mpg then I am much more focussed on getting other things, such as 4WD, decent handling, good pulling power and a large boot space. The Forester does much of that for me so is a strong contender!
