They’re supposed to aim at 45 minutes for us. Last time I called them and they said several hours the woman laughed then hit my head off saying that’s for those on motorways (it isn’t).
I’ve had 4 breakdowns now and RAC has been poo each time, last time I hit so fed up I called motability for a taxi and left the car where it was.
Another time they “located” me in London when I was in Norfolk this was despite me giving them the road A number and local businesses nearby.
If you have a breakdown and need a hire car and use Skoda assist you could be stuffed as that’s all handled by the RAC. So despite issues some have a positive response, depends where you are and your luck.
