Downloading the myRAC app to your smartphone is the quickest and easiest way to report a breakdown to the RAC. The app will pinpoint your location even if you are not sure where you are, and you will receive regular updates on your patrol’s arrival time.

You can report your breakdown online to the RAC. You will only need to enter a few details and you will get a confirmation call and text plus regular updates.

Alternatively, you can call the RAC on 0800 731 1173. They will try to get someone out to you within 45 minutes but this can vary at busy times.
