    Have never been asked previously to pay the customers invoice before collection and entering PIN until now. £4045 in this case. Doesn’t sit well with me, especially if on inspection I find anything not up to scratch. Thoughts please……………

    Some dealers are requesting a hefty upfont payment for EV’s – @MFillingham got asked for £1k before they would allocate the car.

    However entering the PIN prior to collection day is both wrong and probably agains’t Mb’s T&C’s. I would definately speak with Motability about this, if only to offer you some form of protection, should things not be to your satisfaction on collection day and prevent you being shafted! Perhaps request a new PIN, you can enter on the day. Don’t leave it lie for your own protection 🙂
