@sid I know its the first time you are going through this process. But the car will be working fine. When people suggest checking the car, its making sure the correct model, colour and spec is as you ordered. I dont know how you will get on doing it your way. Maybe someone else has requested a test drive on handover day??
you wont be able to test drive your new car. its new and new cars awaiting sale as ‘new’ are not driven as test cars.
the salesman should go through the controls etc and between you you can see as much as possible that it passes muster; but no test drive on car your getting.
