i am just 7 months into a lease of a juke hybrid which is proving a good choice.
but looking forward i would like to see some sensible cars with sensible ap’s.
ideally but unfortunateley due to ee and uk regs impossible, far less computer interferance. the bings and bongs of big brother drive me mad. i have had 2 accidents in 43 years driving neither my fault and none of the bings and bongs would have prevented the accidents.
this time round the juke was pretty much the only car i could comfortably get in and out of in my price range and i am fortunate that i get wpms so the ap is a bit less and i get an auto grant of £660 from the veterans agency. so absolute max is £1400 ap.
the different shapes and windscreen slopes of small suv’s ruled out a lot of contenders.
then the ap of the likes of the countryman took them out. so i was left with the juke or larger cars like the qq,ateca etc the ap knocking a lot of them out.
i hope in 2 and a bit years the new countryman is on the scheme at a reasonable ap. or something new from left field.
