Unfortunately not big enough boot. Was first on my list as I love the car same with Ioniq 6 but we have dogs soooo think RSPCA might not approve putting them in the boot of a 6 lol but checked it out and that boot floor is too high I really tried to justify it too, just doesn’t have enough boot height iykwim I was gutted as I really really wanted the Ioniq 5 but….

It’s a bit unclear they said grant of £999 there’s a list of suggested cars underneath but then it says elsewhere you can choose anything up to £1499 with me adding £500. No mention of the new car payment whether the £500 includes that or whether that’s separate. Same with part ex.

Have already gone round the houses looking at cars and realistically the only thing suitable at the moment is the Enyaq as part of my requirements is electric as ICE makes me travel sick these days and steering wheel vibration causes pain in my hands which I didn’t figure out until I had an EV that was a real eye opener.

I’m really trying not to be greedy or unreasonable I feel awful about even applying for the grant let alone saying thanks but that’s not enough.

Unfortunately none of the offers ever pop up in Norfolk. I did get a local dealer to match those with a stock car order but when we went and actually had a close look the boot would just be too snug with scooter plus luggage if we go away and there’s not enough practical space for a decent size dog to sit and stand and move about. That is a really good suggestion thanks.

Thanks for feedback and suggestions though really helpful.
