Seeing as the question wasn’t Enyaq specific I’ll add a little to the already comprehensive answer above.
Most new BEVs will have a precondition function on the app. Some don’t have an app but can be set by timer or from the remote but a few don’t have the facility at all. If you’re looking at one in particular it’s always best to check but if it’s not Chinese or cheap (or both) you’ll probably be fine.
Most cars will allow you to set a temperature, whether that’s higher or lower than the outside, and will then use whatever energy is available to create that internal environment. In cold that includes heating any seats and the steering wheel. In heat, there’s the opportunity to ventilate the seats but what benefit that gives over the energy used we’ll have to see.
