Hope your test drive goes well. What car are you currently driving? I am in a VW golf at the moment and looking at the Ioniq 6, it is much bigger. If you have a smaller car now, then please let me know how it feels to drive a bigger car ? If you have a wheelchair. Let me know how you/your carer find putting the wheelchair in the boot and removing it. I don’t know if you have driven the BMW i4. If you have, please let me know which is the better drive. I don’t think you expected so many questions . But I pounced on the chance. Most importantly, have a good drive ?
Looking at @Adrian photos (which are very useful) the boot looks a good size and may well accommodate a wheelchair, but there would be two things that would concern me re wheelchair access. Firstly, the boot is low down and there is a deep sill that you’d have to lower the wheelchair over, and lift back over. Secondly, boots are far harder to reach in to get a hold on the wheelchair than a tailgate. Best option for a wheelchair is always an estate or SUV with a level boot floor and no raised sill.
