    Sadly I had a “Friday” Tarraco Elegance 195BHP 4wd

When it was fault free it was absolutely brilliant and a near perfect “disability”  vehicle with wide doors, high seats, plenty of leg room front and back plus a huge boot. So easy to drive for a large heavy vehicle.

Mine was one of those with random electrical faults – the dash would go blank, radio /sat nav would freeze. Random warning lights coming up on the dash. Boot / Windows opening by themselves etc. Many faults were common across the entire VAG range.

The most annoying thing was getting SEAT to acknowledge there was a problem – even with a report from the RAC saying they had witnessed the faults, ran a diagnostic and found a number of fault codes  which they sent to the main dealer – whom unsurprisingly could not find the fault codes or the fault!

In  nearly 50 years of driving it was probably the best and worst car at the same time.
