I currently have my own car registered in my name that is in the tax-exempt class. Next week, I pick up my Motability car.
I assume the minute I collect my Motability car my personal car will have to be changed back to a private class, and I will have to pay tax from that point on.
In which case, if I drive my car to the dealer 30 miles away to collect the Motability car, and my partner drives our personal car back home, I assume she will be driving an untaxed vehicle? Is there any cross over allowed to enable this to happen?
