The ban did not affect The UK and other countries. The UK regulations in particular require a minimum of a Type A RCD fitted upstream of an EV charger.
I doubt there is much you can do about it if Motability wan’ts to change it to Ohme other than tell them you don’t want to, though my personal view is the Easee charger is superior to the Ohme charger, if you have an EV that is lsted as approved for the likes of Octopus intelligent tariff.
