I can’t see it being a kick in the teeth for VW, especially as the EU already have a ban date of 2035. Most democratic countries have a 2035 date and I’m sure the UK isn’t the only market they sell their vehicles!
Equally if someone was going to buy and now or in the future is probably because they want and can the benifits it may give them. Same story with heatpumps.
