The BMW X1 has a petrol engine and the BMW iX1 is the electric version of it. I expect and hope the BMW X1 will join the scheme next year. However the electric iX1 starts at £52,390 so it seems unlikely that it will.
And yet the BMW i4 eDrive 35 Sport some of us have on order is £52,000 (with the standard Tech pack added).
There’s just no pattern to the prices and APs these days. Last time I looked, the AP on an Astra Sports Tourer electric was about £3k more than the i4 ?
