Took car to the dealership for its MOT, the MOT failed due to a small tear in the left rear tyre. Dealership had the replacement tyre but Motability said they needed the quote to be approved by Kwik Fit. Kwik Fit refused the quote and said they would send a mobile repair van to replace the tyre themselves. It is 10 days before Kwik Fit can get to my car at the dealership. It be had £150 taxi account set up by Motability fro the first 24hrs and now I’ve got a hire car by europa car for the 9 remaining days. Surely, it was more economical and cost effective to accept the quote of the dealership to change the tyre?. Motability says they have no control over Kwik Fits decisions, and if I’m not happy, I can put in a complaint to Kwik Fit. On the Motability website it says Kwik Fit Mobile repair team will repair your tyre within 3 working days, clearly this is incorrect and Kwik Fit do not prioritise Motability customers.
