Hi I have got just ordered my first car and I have only put my name down for insurance. When i have really bad days I dont have the ability to drive and this can last for a few days to a week. Im aware that you can go into the motability app and add someone and apparently the process is quite simple, but my concern is how soon does the person get added, can it be same day? does any paperwork get sent to them and do they have to sign anything. I only need it on occasions and think only for 1 day if i did need it. Has anyone had to ever do this?
Hi Mm7, I’d like to think you would get an email notification or an in app notification of some form and to act as proof you have indeed added that person! However not 100% sure to be honest now DLM have taken over 🙂
