Hi Kezo, No, I asked them months ago about getting a driveway, they only replied today asking for a schedule of works, installers details etc. etc. They have no interest in doing it themselves. The Kerbocharge would be ideal, worst case I’ll go ahead and have it fitted then run a lead to a socket outside and use a 10m granny lead. With the wall box and low mileage I’d only have to charge once a week at most, with the granny lead that jumps to 3 or 4 times.

    Typical mate!

As said forward the council email agreeing to kerbo and that they are prepaid to install it for £300, with no charge to the HA and in light of this all you require is permission to install a charger and you wouldn’t like to think you are being penalised for going green.

Forward the email from council to your MP and explain the council is happy to fit this as it is approved by highways and all you want is permission to have a charger fitted to your HA home.

I think it is important to include what the council has agreed in any correspondance!
