If you haven’t tried an EV but don’t see any benefits after reading a couple of cherry picked articles, over the actual opinions and thoughts of actual EV drivers then of course anyone who says different is going to come across as ridiculing you, because you don’t want to be told anything that disagrees with your bias and assumptions.
EVs aren’t for everyone solely because of people’s prejudice, funnily enough these are the same group of people who would probably have never given up their horse and cart when cars came along at first “because they would never take off”. If you are going to have opinions on something at least research it first, perhaps give it a try then formulate your own, instead of regurgitating what you are told by social-media and biased articles
