I think there’s a bit of confusion between the amount of miles you can cover on your 3 year lease and the maximum amount of miles you can have covered over 3 years to extend your lease for an extra 2 years.
To extend your lease for an extra 2 years it used to be that you could not have done more than 15,000 miles in 3 years, but this was always a very relaxed rule. It’s not been enforced during the Covid supply issues, even today I’d say Motability will happily extend a 3 year lease even if you had done well over 20,000.
