I think the criteria for and membership to be an Accredited Motability Specialist Dealer, should be more stringent. And a ‘mystery shopper’ programme for it too, both i’ve suggested to motability operations in the past.
Fully agreed. If you’re a Motability Specialist, you should at least be offering a loan car OR a collect and return service for your Motability customers. Expecting someone to sit and wait when you have no idea of their disability is discriminatory at best. But all these decisions on what services to provide are based on cost.
