Your first Motability vehicle is always a bit of a nightmare. I suggest reading The Motability website, as there is a lot of information on there.
It looks like you are after a 7 seater and have eyes on Skoda kodiaq and Nissan x trail. You could use this. Find a vehicle on motability may turn up some other options.
Ultimately only you can make the final decision. Though I am sure other forum members will be along in due course to give you good advice.
