We went to Skoda afterwards and looked around the Kodiaq SEL. Immediately we felt it was a better car. It wasn’t as high, electric memory drivers seat, powered tailgate, could adopt a nice driving position and the interior felt better. Plus the massive boot!
Test drive the pre facelift model but still a 1.5 petrol with DSG box. The drive was smooth and really nice, even on 19″ wheels. So we’ve ordered one in petrol blue to be delivered in 6 months.
Sales guy did try and get a deposit from us but I said no. He also said if the AP drops we’re locked in and they can’t reorder. I know that is rubbish so hopefully it doesn’t happen.
