Yeah, I’m playing the waiting game on the Tekna trim too. Our XC40 has been a belter in the time we’ve had it but I would like to get back into something the size of an XT. We had a Hyundai Santa Fe before the Volvo, and the size drop was noticeable given I’m 6’2″ and like to have room and height.
I like the QQ e-power, it’s whether it will be quite big enough and Mike700 is getting early 50’s to late 60’s out of his, which will be 10mpg or better that the XT e-power. Apart from been unsure on size the fact the seats aren’t full leather or what ever it is, is nagging me. The XT would more than be big enough but, I wouldnt take the N conecta based on our needs. The other thing the XT is less fuel efficient but, I would compromise for the right spec.
I want to test drive both to get the feel, then probably request an extended test drive and decide from there. The other thing I’m expecting/hope the price to drop in Q2 an the XT Tecna joins at a reasonable AP.
