    Horses for courses, home charging and short trips – especially towns and cities, no brainer, EV all the way. Lots of longish trips and/or no home charging, then not EV…simple.

    As others here have said, some will suit scenario A, some scenario B, some scenario C etc etc.

    I’ve run my EV for 18 months – just been told I will have to go back into work at least 3 days a week, so that adds 240 odd miles a week to my fuel costs. Currently that is an extra £28 in leccy a week (34p a unit, not on a special deal),  my previous diesel would be £40-42 for the same. That is if cost is the only consideration.

    In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.
