Been looking for an SUV with space for boot scooter and good luggage load. Decent specs important, so went for the Grandland Ultimate at £2009 AP. Just ordered and should get it in June. Tiguan Elegance was car of choice, but outside my price range, so hope it’s a decent car.
It sits on the same platform as the Peugeot 3008 since Peugeot’s PSA parent bought Vauxhall/Opel and is powered by PSA frogs 1.2 3 cyl engine and is built, in a PSA factory in France.
It may not be as plush inside as the 3008 in the same way Skoda aren’t as plush as VW’s even though there both owned by VW. In other words you will get decent spec’s at a lower price point.
My Uncle has not long had a Grandland albeit the plug in version and he loves the the car overall.
