So have I understand it correctly. They say you can have a Sportage, Tuscan, Qashqai or Karoq. You could choose any one of those cars and they give you a Grant for the base spec model whatever the AP is
If grants advice car a, b or c and you want car d, you can choose car d as long as it is no more than the grant offered plus 50%.
for example yur grant awarded is £2000 you can add a maximum of 50% (£1000) out of your own funds on top of the grant award.
Its hard to say what the grants team will award. You may be lucky and get the model and spec you want awarded to you, or by adding ontop of the award upto 50% yourself, may get you in the model spec of your choice. Other times grants have awarded the car with the cheapest AP in the category awarded.
I would like to hope with sky high AP’s you will beable to get the car of your choice.
