We have a petrol Kia Sportage on order since April but delivery will not be until early next year now, so considering alternatives. I really like the new Qashqai and X-Trail E-Power models which will provide much better fuel economy than the quite thirsty Sportage. However, the N-Connecta trim does lack some features such as heated seats, electric tailgate and wireless Android auto (only wireless Apple car play available). I have asked the dealer if the heat pack can be added as an extra and await their response.
One things for certain they will have a far better mpg than the Sportage/Tuscon petrol. Although its worth factoring in the extra AP of the E Power above the Sportage, depending on how many miles you do.
