I’ve got an app on my phone called Petrol Prices.com. It shows you where to get the cheapest fuel in your area. It’s interesting that near me, an independent Texaco filling station is 7p a litre cheaper than the supermarkets. It used to be the other way around. Anyway I recommend the app to help you get the cheapest fuel.
I’ve been using that website for years. It’s very useful. Same situation here. The independent Texaco in our village is just 141.9p for unleaded today, way cheaper than the supermarkets (who have been price fixing during the current energy crisis).
I’m just relieved that we moved away from diesel with our current car. As well as the 26p a litre premium for diesel, our current 2.0i petrol BMW achieves better MPG than our previous 2.0 diesel VW!
