I’ve got an app on my phone called Petrol Prices.com. It shows you where to get the cheapest fuel in your area.

It’s interesting that near me, an independent Texaco filling station is 7p a litre cheaper than the supermarkets. It used to be the other way around.

Anyway I recommend the app to help you get the cheapest fuel.

I’ve been using that website for years. It’s very useful. Same situation here. The independent Texaco in our village is just 141.9p for unleaded today, way cheaper than the supermarkets (who have been price fixing during the current energy crisis).

I’m just relieved that we moved away from diesel with our current car. As well as the 26p a litre premium for diesel, our current 2.0i petrol BMW achieves better MPG than our previous 2.0 diesel VW!

Asda was always the cheapest near me. But not since it was sold last year, now the small independent is cheaper.

Near me it vary’s, so I always check. Last week I was in Worksop passed asda it was 6p cheaper than anywhere but only pay at the pump, managed to put £15 in.

The local asda to me is pay at the kiosk and I did use it alot during covid and having to wear a mask to pay inside an all that. Thing is now they only sell E10 same as Morrison’s.

So I more likely to go elsewhere to put in E5 as car runs smoother and mpg is better, Sometimes i do put in E10 if I got half a tank left of e5. All a bleeding con to make us pay more and goverment luv it as they getting more tax than ever.

I use petrol prices .com, but my local Texaco now Esso since last weekend is by far cheaper than any Supermarkets or BP

Unleaded £1.44 some 9-12p cheaper than any of the others near me.
