    If you now take chips out of the equation my take is they batch in colour – then it is just the luck of the draw if your estimated despatch date coincides with that colour.

    They used to give VIN number sometime during voyage to Tilbury – then not until it docked.

    My advice – keep asking for updates on a monthly basis, but don’t believe a date until you get your VIN – else you will just get frustrated over events not in your control.
    But – yes – I do still remember the sinking feeling when estimated delivery date was pushed out yet again.  As many have said – the Kona is well worth the wait – especially given the current lack of EV choice on Motability.
