Just got back from an 8 Mile drive – weather cold and dank – used heated seats no a/c returned 4.8 – so going down but still very acceptable.
I like many of you have not yet charged near the extreme of range – just tested locally to try and convince myself I know what I’m doing ??.
As for the charging apps
Yes I have been looking at a few ?.
Different apps appear to vary in choice in different parts of the UK – my need will be Exeter and Cornwall heading towards Truro – so living just outside M25 Exeter would be the earliest I would want to stop and further into Cornwall would be better.
I think you can plan along your route factoring alternatives, but the real issue seems to be reliability and speed – as I will not make this journey often I can live with being over charged, but as I have said reliability and speed along with close to route are my main priorities. Time will tell ?
