My dealer put my order through for a Kona Electric Premium on 14 April 2022. I was promised November. I contacted them to see if there was an update last week only to be told that the car had been withdrawn from the scheme. I argued that the order was placed in April and the car withdrawn in September to no avail. I contacted Motability for some advice and they can’t find me on their system and there is no record of an order being placed.
I’ve asked the dealer to establish with Motability why my details didn’t transfer over to the Motability system but surely someone has to honour an order made 5 months before the car was withdrawn? As I understand it, the Kona Electric is still available on other leasing schemes, just not Motability.
